I am Jasper Bussemaker and I am 16 years old. I live in Purmerend (a city which lies about 20 km north of Amsterdam) in the Netherlands and currently I am still a pupil at the VWO in Amsterdam (5th grade).
I have always had interests in computers. But about three years ago (begin 2007) I (re)discovered the world of Flightsim and joined IVAO (the International Virtual Aviation Organisation). I am now a Commercial Pilot (former Senior Flight Captain) and Approach Controller (former Controller 2) and aviation is my primary hobby. I am webmaster and an active pilot at the transavia.com virtual airline. The website includes php files with up to 6000 lines of code and some really advanced systems. The transavia.com virtual airline website can be found here! Since March 2010 I'm also webmaster of Aviosim.org.
The latest addition to my software list is the Integrated Pirep System. It is a PHP-based flight logging and pirep system which automatically detects flights, logs them and finally "sends" a flight report of the flight. This is my first project on which I am planning to make some money, not in the way of selling it, but in the way of selling integration services. For more information visit the IPS website!
I have got seven applications online right now, of which four are windows application, two are flash applets and one is a set of PHP scripts. Read more about them on the Software page.
The first application I created which was related to flight simulation was the World Clearance Generator, an helpful tool for air traffic controllers on the network of IVAO. I make the Windows applications with Visual Basic 6. The flash applets I create in Flash CS4 Pro, the website I create using Dreamweaver CS4 and Photoshop CS4.
